Two Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Cards

Happy Monday! Only 2 weeks left of Sale-a-bration, and I have two Friendly Hello cards for you today. I like the design of these, because you can make a batch of them, bundle them up, and give them to a friend as a quick gift. The Friendly Hello bundle is only available until February 28th, and you can choose it as a free item with a $120 purchase. Scroll for more details.

Both cards were made using one of the sketches in the January 2022 Recipe Cards. Have you ordered your set yet? We’re offering them as a free bonus because they’re the very first set released. Details, and the link to order them, can be found here.

The first card uses the Pale Papaya and black DSP found in the Friendly Hello DSP pack. Stamping the sentiment in black, adding a couple of Pale Papaya leaves, ties in with the overall look of the card. I have added leaves to the inside of the card as well.

Did you notice the black embellishments on the card? These came from the Classic Matte Dots pack found in the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalogue. The pack has four colours of dots, with three different sizes of each. I was pleased to see these because sometimes you just need something that doesn’t have a lot of colour on your projects.

Our second card uses the same sketch, and the overall look is similar. The Fresh Freesia and black colour combo comes directly from the Friendly Hello DSP, and you can see how this card would work well combined with others in a gift pack. I don’t have a card made with the Pool Party DSP, but adding cards with the same style of paper gives you one more option.

The key difference between the Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia versions is that I stamped one background, and embossed the other. Matte Black Dots are on Fresh Freesia card. These are a tad larger than the other dots, but work just as easily.

The supply list for today’s project can be found at the bottom of the post. Don’t forget that Sale-a-bration ends on February 28th, and the Friendly Hello Bundle will only be available until then. Have you ordered your FREE January 2022 Recipe Cards yet? Amy Cook and I have released our new program, and we’ve already had a bunch of orders. Click here for full detail programs, and to order your FREE Recipe Cards. The February Recipe Cards will be released on February 15th, and feature the Honeybee Home stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today for details on my Friendly Hello cards. Making these, and bundling them together, is a good way to use the paper in the bundle, and you can whip up a few of these in a relatively short period of time. I have a bunch of things to finish and organize today. A stack of cards are all laid out in the basement, and I’m scheduling a bunch of things for you to check out in the weeks to come. I also have to walk a dog in the freezing temperatures today. Good thing she has a super thick fur coat. Enjoy your day, and I’ll be back on Wednesday. Until then, Happy Stamping!
