Happy Tuesday! Today’s project is a Sweet as a Peach Flip Flap Card. It’s a super easy fun fold card to make, and was the one that I was going to demonstrate live last week on Facebook before online training derailed my evening. Work, family, and wellness then derailed my weekend. I know that my stamping friends understand, because we’ve all been there. Moving on to today’s card…
I have photos of the card, but I have also recorded a video! Granted it’s rough, and I forgot to mention my name until the end of the video, but I would like to make sure that details and instructions are available to as many people as possible, and this is one way to help with this. A goal of mine is to keep them relatively short, because it drives me bananas when the first 10 minutes is a whole pile of chattering. That’s the adult educator coming out in me. Regardless, it’s a start and you have to start somewhere.
As details to make this card are available in the video, I’ll share the photos and supply list with you today. I’m trying something a bit different with Pinterest this week, so if you follow me there, you’ll see this pop up as regular pins, but also as an idea pin.
When the card is closed, it fits into a regular card envelope, because the card is still 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. As you can see, there is a small section that has been folded back.
When the card is open, the front image ‘flips’ so that you can still see it. A piece of cardstock has been stamped, die cut and glued to the inside. It’s hidden when the card is closed.
Measurements for the card, including the sizes for the Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangles, are included in the video.

It’s just an extra fold and remembering not to glue your card together!! I’ll be back tomorrow with another project that I did make live on Facebook several weeks ago.
