Happy Monday! Today’s projects were made with the Textures & Frames stamp set, available for free during Sale-a-bration. I think that this stamp set needs a bit of love, because it can work well on your projects. Let’s have a look.
The card on the left side of the above photo was CASE’d from one posted by Kylie Bertucci. It’s easy to make, and the colour combination is perfect for a summer card. Scroll down for today’s Colour Chip to see just how well these colours look together.
The second Textures & Frames card is the one that I created based on Kylie’s card. Opting to change the orientation but keep the colour scheme, made it really easy to stamp. The most time consuming part of these cards was heat embossing the phrase! Don’t you just love the Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana cardstock against the Basic Black? It really makes the colours pop!
The cute phrase on the front comes from the Sale-a-bration Counting Sheep stamp set, which means that all of the stamps on this card were free with a qualifying purchase! How wonderful is that? It was embossed on black with white embossing powder, and hand cut for the diagonal edges.
I have been negligent of late in adding Colour Chips for my projects. Too much to do, too little time! Moving forward, I’ll be adding as many as I can. Sometimes they don’t have any value, because projects are monochromatic. Regardless, you can always find them on my Colour Chip Resource Page, with links back to the original blog posts.
