Last Day to get Peaceful Prints DSP

Happy Thursday! Today’s the last day of Sale-a-bration, which means it’s the last day you can choose the free Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper with your order. These cute gift bags were made during last week’s Facebook Live share on Thursday evening. Scroll down for the video to see how they were made.

Each of these bags were made with a piece of the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper. The one on the right is a 12″ x 9″ piece, while the one on the left is 8″ x 8″. One of the keys to this project is that the paper must be pliable and easy to fold. It would be nice to make these out of cardstock, so that they’re super sturdy, but it would be REALLY difficult to do so. My advice is to stick with DSP or wrapping paper.

This is the last day that you can choose the Peaceful Prints DSP with a $60 order. The colours in this paper are outstanding, and they match very well with other colours that fall outside of the combination in the pack.

Once the bags were constructed, I made a couple of quick tags with the Peaceful Deer Bundle. Each has a bit of Peaceful Prints DSP across the bottom, with a bit of stamping behind the deer. The black deer has been punched from Basic Black cardstock, while the Cherry Cobbler deer was stamped first, and then punched.

Both of these bags have folded edges at the top. You don’t have to fold them over, and depending on the size of the bag, you may not want to. If they’re small (examples in video), it’s easier to close them up when they’re unfolded, and you have a bit more space inside to add treats.

Isn’t the ribbon on these bags pretty? They both have some tiny glittery confetti in them, and who doesn’t like a bit of glitter on their projects. The White Glittered Organdy Ribbon is in the Jul-Dec Mini Catalogue, while the black is in the Annual Catalogue.

Curious to see how they’re made? It’s all in the video below. Now… for the sake of actually posting this in a reasonable time frame, I didn’t edit the beginning. Last week’s Live had some technical difficulties, so I cut it off, restarted, and the second version is far better than the first.
