Happy Tuesday! Today’s project is a quartet of Biggest Wish Thank You cards that I finished on the weekend. These four cards have been lying around, unfinished, in my stamp room for some time. I shudder to think of how long they have been there. Let’s have a closer look.
This is a simple card design, and is easily a Back to Basics card. It’s so Back to Basics, that it’s pretty similar to a swap card that I posted earlier in the spring. The alignment is different, because it’s a vertical card, but the general elements are the same.
Here’s the funny thing… when I was making the set of swap cards, I accidentally glued the wrong side of the Sweet Symmetry DSP to four of the cards. These ones. Look at the picture below, and you’ll see that the DSP patterns appear together. Good thing I had enough of the paper to finish the cards!
Biggest Wish is a new stamp set to the catalogue, and it is popular. There are two different sizes & fonts within the stamp set. These can be used together or separately. This card only uses the smaller ‘thanks’, however you’ll see both together on an upcoming project that I’m staring at on my dining room table.
I pulled out Night of Navy ink for the stamp, and die cut the image with the Tasteful Labels set. The oblong frame is the perfect size for this stamp, and using Dimensionals underneath pops it up.
The Bumblebee ribbon on this card is retired. I thought about using the current gingham ribbon, but you can see the Sweet Symmetry DSP through the ribbon. There is still Bumblebee ribbon on last year’s roll, and I opted to use it for these cards. The cute 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems though are available and are perfect for this project. Thanks for stopping by today! This thank you card uses relatively few items, and the Biggest Wish ‘thanks’ stamp fits perfectly into the Tasteful Labels die.
