Good morning stampers! I haven’t had nearly enough time to stamp this summer, but did manage to make a couple of baby cards along the way. Yesterday’s Swirly Bird notecards were small, but today’s Welcome Little One card, stamped with Animal Outing, is full size. It’s also gender neutral, so you can pull this one from your basket when needed.
The colour scheme was pulled from the strip of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper layered behind the rhino. Night of Navy and Soft Sea Foam form the base, but there’s a line of Petal Pink in the paper, allowing you to comfortably give this card to a baby girl. The paper in this pack has very small patterns, making it SO versatile for all of your projects. You can use it on just about anything.
Animal Outing has a combination of line images and sentiments, so you only need one stamp set for kid/baby cards. The Animal Friends Thinlits easily cut them out – no fussy cutting! Purchase both in a wood mount or clear mount bundle, and save 10%!
Colouring the rhino and bird are quick and easy with Stampin’ Blends, and because the rhino has been coloured using Smoky Slate, I opted to add three silver Metallic Pearls. They match his coloured body very well.
