Happy Sunday, and Happy Long Weekend! Tomorrow is Victoria Day, and this is the unofficial beginning of summer in Canada. I’ll be heading outside in a bit to do a bit of pruning, but I need to be careful because I have a robin’s nest, complete with baby birds, in one of my spiral shaped cedars. It’s inconvenient, however it faces the big window in our main floor office, so we can watch the birds without being intrusive.
Once again, I’m happily sharing projects created by talented Team Flamingo stampers. My Stampin’ Up! team has over 20 people in it, is very creative, and very shy. This week we four lovely projects to show off. Next week we may have more as there is another sketch challenge posted in our Team Flamingo Facebook Group.
First up is a card created by Katrina Barker-Pyke. She found inspiration in two different challenges this week – Just Add Ink Colour Challenge #555 and the Less is More Sketch #443. The Daisy Lane stamp set is perfect for both.
Next up we have a gorgeous card from Cathy Harker. You will recognize the Hand-Penned stamps and coordinating Designer Series Paper as she has fallen in love with this suite. Beautiful card!!
Bianca Cervoni has created three beautiful cards with the Artistically Inked Bundle and the Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper. I have both but haven’t cracked them out yet. Soon! Have a look at Bianca’s perfect bows. The trick for this is to wrap your ribbon around your project and create separate bows. Stick these on with a glue dot, and you’ll be so proud of your perfect bows.
Finally, Julie MacIsaac create this elegant card for a tutorial group that I created for a number of fellow demonstrators, which is why it doesn’t have her watermark on it. I can assure you though that this project is all hers, and you can download the tutorial to create it yourself!
Aren’t these projects wonderful? These demonstrators put a lot of time and effort into their projects, and it really shows in the photographs.
