Stampin’ Up! Picture This with Plentiful Plants

Happy Tuesday! Today’s project features pieces from both the Picture This die set and Plentiful Plants bundle. Some of the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper has been added as well. Let’s take a look.

I was thinking about the Picture This dies earlier this week, wondering how well they would work as windows on a card. This is certainly not a ‘window’ card, because of the plants that are peeking out of the circles. However, you will see one later this week that has a bunch of goats enjoying life. I couldn’t decide on a theme for this week’s Facebook Live until last night. We’ll play with these dies!

In case you have forgotten, the Picture This die set includes two larger dies that create openings for stamped images or DSP to shine through.

On this project, I have die cut the base and piece with the circles from Evening Evergreen cardstock. This is a colour that I have hardly used, because I associate it more with fall & winter than spring/summer. However, it’s one of the colours in the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP and work so well as the base for this card. Before I forget… this DSP is on sale during the month of July!

Each of the 5 die cut circles was cut from the DSP with the main die. I did cut around the images with scissors before die cutting the circles to avoid too much waste.

The bottom right corner has a background cut from the Paper Lattice pack. It looks really good against the Evening Evergreen cardstock. Not overwhelming, but you can really see it. One snake plant, cut from a die in the Perfect Plants die set, was glued overtop.

The sentiment is in the Plentiful Plants stamp set. It was simply stamped and cut with a small piece of Just Jade cardstock underneath. Two Cinnamon Cider 2022-2022 In Color Square Gems were added to the bottom right corner.

I have to add that I’m really enjoying all of the items in the Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite. Everything is laid out on my stamp table right now so that I can begin planning this month’s Shadowbox Sampler. I was staring at it last night for inspiration, and have a rough idea of what I want to include. Stay tuned…
