Good morning stampers! Today’s card carries on with the Sale-a-Bration Foil Sheets that you can earn for FREE with a $60 purchase. It features the Lovely Lipstick Foil paper, and the Amazing Life stamp set.
While yesterday’s card was my own creation, I freely admit that I CASEd this card from Mary Ellen Stites. She embossed the Lovely Lipstick Foil sheet with the Dot to Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. On this card it didn’t take away the sheen, but gives us a card great background.
The large sentiment from Amazing Life was stamped on Whisper White cardstock and die cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits. I inked up the centre part of the stamp again, and stamped it onto Lovely Lipstick cardstock. The banner was then fussy cut and glued onto flat to the sentiment.
Stampin’ Blends were used for the colouring – Dark Petal Pink on the word “Happy” and both of the Daffodil Delight and Call Me Clover Blends on the flowers. The flowers/leaves were fussy cut and mounted onto the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The close-up photo below shows the detail of the colouring.
*Tip* You can use the Stampin’ Blends for straight colouring, without adding a second colour for blending. This gives you consistent colour across your image, without colouring “lines”.
