Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World CASE the Catalogue Monday

Hello everyone! Today’s card was created as today’s Beautiful World CASE the Catalogue Monday project. I’m striving to add different features to my blog, and I find that it’s different seeing cards in person rather than just the glossy photos in the book. Beautiful World is the first stamp set that will be featured. Let’s move along!

A greeting card with two globes handstamped with rubber stamps from the Beautiful World stamp set by Stampin' Up!

I’m going to begin by quickly explaining what “CASE” means, because you will see it often, but its meaning isn’t immediately apparent. Depending on how you look at it, it’s either “Copy and Share Everything” or “Copy and Selectively Edit”. Regardless of the definition you choose, credit needs to be given to the original creator whenever possible. In this case, the card was copied to the best of my ability from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. You can find it on page 26.

Although it combines stamping and die cutting, it’s an easy card to put together. The stamp set is part of the larger World of Good Suite.

Included are the World of Good Suite:

  • Beautiful World stamps
  • World Map Dies
  • World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder
  • Brass Foil Sheets
  • World of Good Memories & More Card Pack
  • Antiqued Corners & Slides
  • 1/4″ Faux Suede Trim

Sadly, the only item on the above list that isn’t retiring is the Trim. Everything else is on the Last Chance List. I’ll be spotlighting pieces of this Suite all week, so be sure to add them to your order. Here’s a close-up of the card. You get a feel for some of the dies in the bundle. The numbers that are on the impression are coordinates for Stampin’ Up! offices around the globe. That’s kind of neat!

*Tip* To colour the globes, you need Black Memento Ink, Misty Moonlight & Mossy Meadow ink, and Blending Brushes. Stamp the globes first onto Basic White cardstock, and then blend the colour onto the cardstock, beginning near the bottom. When they are die cut, you can really see the colour difference from bottom to top.

At this point I am encouraging you to look through the Last Chance List, to ensure that you have everything that you love before it retires. While I’ve had the World of Good DSP and Faux Suede Trim in my collection for awhile, I only added the bundle recently and wish I had done so earlier. It’s a good one for travel scrapbook pages or someone who is retiring.
