Good morning stampers! It’s Card Swap Thursday, and today’s project is chock full of products from the Occasions Catalogue. The main focal point though is the sentiment from the Well Said Bundle.
This card was created by Jenn Tinline, and I love the colour combination of Highland Heather, Gardcen Green, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla. It’s not one that I would have put together, but one that I will keep in my box o’ colours. Card swaps are a great tool for discovering new ways to use products and colours.
The Well Said Bundle includes stamps and dies that you can mix and match to create sentiments for every occasion. The stamp set includes phrases for the inside of your card, but you can also use a few of them on the front. I also feel that some of the die cut words would work on scrapbook pages to emphasize a photo or journalling block. The bundle is pricey ($103.50), but I view it as an investment because of its versatility. Add a couple of packs of paper to push your total over $120, and you can choose 1 or 2 Sale-a-Bration freebies. Oh, and it’s available in French too!
The blooms on the card are from the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits while the leaves are from a die set that I can’t identify! There are many leaf dies out there, so you can use any one currently in your collection on this style of card. They were attached to the card with one of the lovely Floral Romance Seals.
The Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder was used with the Soft Suede cardstock. Jenn sponged Soft Suede ink across the cardstock, giving it an even deeper feel. Here’s a closer look.
