I have run out of swap cards for now, so you’re stuck with a Throwback Thursday card this week! Luckily I have a few cards in my stash that I cannot seem to get rid of, and this week’s card is one of them. It’s a good manly kind of card – which fits because we created it at a manly kind of class.
The reason that I really like this card is the pattern of the Designer Series Paper behind the sentiment. Thin strips were cut in such a way that it created a pattern on the card. Here’s the funny thing. I don’t remember what the name of the technique is (Herringbone?) or how to cut the paper. I don’t think that it would be hard for me to recreate it.
As I stare at the photo that I took yesterday, I think that I may need to research this card again. Just to be sure I hit the right stamp set! Stay tuned. If I didn’t, I’ll load it again. With the correct name.
