Thank You Watercolour Tag Card with Biggest Wish

Happy Wednesday! Today’s Thank You Watercolour Tag Card also has a greeting from the Biggest Wish stamp set. I have posted most of the cards that I made with these stamps, but there may be one or two more. Truthfully, I’m writing this while sitting on my porch, and the rest of the cards are in the house, so I don’t remember what’s left. More on that below, but let’s look at today’s card.

Colouring and blending with watercolour pencils and Water Painters, give us the background for this tag. The colours are Balmy Blue, Pacific Point and Night of Navy. Create the tag the same way as outlined in yesterday’s post.

Once it is fully dry, die cut the tag with the largest of the Tailor Made Tags dies. It is the same as the one on yesterday’s card. Stamp the large ‘thanks’ in Memento black ink, and stamp the smaller ‘thanks’ in Versamark. Emboss the word with silver embossing powder and your Heat Tool.

As I mentioned above, the two thank you words on the watercolour tag are from Biggest Wish. It may be the only one that I’m posting that has both the large and small words on it. You’ll find all sorts of projects online that have both words, with different ways of layering them.

Once the tag has been die cut, you can add the tassel. This one is a combination of white baker’s twine (4 pieces), and silver from Simply Elegant Trim (3 pieces). Fold them in half, and push the folded section through the front. It looks nicer when you do, because the ‘hump’ is on the front of the card.

Attach the watercolour tag to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and add five of the silver diamonds from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials embellishment pack. They work with the other silver elements to ground the card.

Thanks for stopping by today! We’re having beautiful weather this week, which I love because it means that I can sit on the porch while I’m waiting for Covid test results. I really, really want this virus to disappear. I wish I could stamp out here, because I can’t stamp in my dedicated room right now. So, I challenge you to make your own Thank You Watercolour Tag card with the supplies that you have on hand. I’ll be back tomorrow with another project, but I think the chances of an actual Facebook Live card share is slim to none. If you have questions, please e-mail them and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Until tomorrow, Happy Stamping!
