Stampin’ Up! Rainbow of Happiness Mini Card Box

Happy Friday! Today’s project is a Rainbow of Happiness Mini Card box, with a set of five 3″x3″ cards. They’re easy cards to create with the Rainbow of Happiness bundle and the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper. I made two of these last night during my weekly Facebook Live, and the other three after I turned off my phone. They’re adorable, and super fast to make. As you know, I’m a visual learner, and love to share photos. Scroll down to see a bunch!

Each of these mini cards are 3″ x 3″, with envelopes to match. We do sell these in the Basic White envelopes in the Annual Catalogue, so you don’t need to reinvent the wheel to make your own. Five cards with envelopes will fit inside one of our 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ Acetate Card Boxes (150428). We do have 2 different sizes of Acetate Card Boxes, so the item number listed is the correct one for these boxes.

While we’re chatting about the boxes, I packed these cards, and their envelopes, into a box and tied a simple white ribbon around it. It’s easy to tuck the box away in a bag so that you have them ready to give away if needed. More on that in a bit.

All of the cards have a die cut rainbow on the front panel. It’s an easy step because it’s one die, and you don’t need to do any fancy gluing. The patterned paper behind the rainbows is from the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper that you can choose as a free item during Sale-a-bration. Two of the cards have subtle colours in their paper, while the other three feature some Brights, and a couple of In Colors.

The Rainbows of Happiness Bundle includes the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set, and the Brilliant Rainbow Dies. As you can see, I added some stamped hearts on the corners of the envelopes. Sentiments and hearts are also inside each of the cards. It’s quick to add both of these when you’re putting the cards together.

When I was Live last night, I gave my stampers the choice of embellishments for the two cards that I had on the table. My basket is full of great options, and I went back there again to choose different embellishments for the other three.

One last note about one of these cards… the rainbows on this piece of Sunshine & Rainbows DSP fit perfectly behind the die cut rainbow. Just be careful when cutting the paper, because you can get 6 full rainbows out of a sheet. Don’t discard that top row either because although they won’t fit under a die cut rainbow, it’s still useful for a layer on a card.
