Happy Wednesday! Today’s card project features two Christmas Season Pinecones. I made this one a few weeks ago during some Facebook Live Mystery Stamping. It was the first time that these pinecone stamps had come out of the stamp case, and I was impressed with how easy it is to line them up. Scroll down for photos, and a downloadable tutorial for the card.
During the online Mystery Stamping, I created two cards and gave those who were watching the opportunity to choose the card that would end up in a future newsletter. They chose this one, so I have included it in today’s newsletter. I include 2-3 projects, including instructions, in each weekly newsletter that goes out by email. Information about promotions and classes are also included, and you’ll be the first to see the *new* Stampin’ Recipe monthly classes that will begin in the new year. This card is not hard to make – especially if you use products from one of the product suites in the catalogue. The Christmas Season and Christmas to Remember stamp sets and the Painted Designer Series Paper as all part of the Painted Christmas Suite. The paper in this suite is so pretty, and I like it on this card because it doesn’t have an overwhelming feel to it. Adding a piece of cardstock underneath, embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder, adds a bit of texture.
These pinecones fit the card design perfectly. They were stamped with Early Espresso and Crumb Cake ink, and it’s quite easy to match the stamps up in this two-step stamp set. After diecutting them with the coordinating Seasonal Label dies (available on their own or as part of the Christmas Season Bundle), they were attached to the paper. The bottom cone was attached direct to the paper, while the other was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
There are a variety of sentiments in the Christmas to Remember stamp set, so you have something to use on most holiday projects. This one was embossed in white, on Early Espresso cardstock. After the embossing was complete, the Treasured Tags Pick a Punch was used to punch the ends.
Finally, don’t forget to stamp the inside of the card! Add a pinecone, and a phrase, and your card is ready to go into the mail.

Thanks for stopping by today! The card is easy, has a big impact, and it also makes me smile when I see it on the table. Christmas Season gives us wonderful images to work with, including the pinecones, and the coordinating Christmas to Remember sentiments match the images very well. I’ll be back on Friday with another project, and don’t forget that I’ll be live on Facebook tomorrow night. If you have questions about today’s project, or anything else, please add a comment or drop me a quick e-mail and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Happy Stamping!
