Stampin’ Up! Berry Delightful Cards

Today I have a series of fun fold cards which use the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper. Sale-a-bration ends in a week, along with all of the free goodies that you can earn with a qualifying purchase. All four of these cards use this wonderful DSP as their focal point. Let’s have a look.

This set of cards was inspired by a set created by Rachel Tessman. They are relatively easy to make – you just need to need the measurements for the fold on the cardstock. I freely admit that I didn’t go looking for them, and just used a ruler to figure it out based on Rachel’s photos. I’ll share them, along with the instructions on how to make them, later this week on a Facebook Live stamping session.

As mentioned above, you can earn this paper as part of a cute bundle, with a $120 purchase (+tax/shipping). The bundles includes the Berry Blessings stamp set and the DSP. Berry Blessings is lovely because it includes blueberry and raspberry images. These coordinate with the strawberries found in the Sweet Strawberry stamp set in the January-June 2021 Catalogue. Let’s have a closer look at each of the cards.

Aren’t they pretty? All are the same design, but could be given to someone along with a treat made from the berries found on the card. I’m hoping to do some berry picking this year, assuming that Covid lets me into the fields. We have a farm close by that has both strawberry and raspberry picking, and it’s fun munching on the berries while working. (Don’t tell anyone because you’re not supposed to eat the berries in the field!)

Here’s a look at the inside of the green card. You can see that the front side of the card base has been folded over, with a section of the same cardstock holding the main piece on the front in place.

The phrase on the front is from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set. When creating these cards, I tried to keep everything within the family of coordinating products. They were punched with the new Double Oval Punch. I’m so glad to have an oval punch back in the catalogue because they work really well on projects and you don’t need to go hunting for an appropriate sized die.
