Rainbow Hello Card Project Idea

Hello stampers! Today’s Rainbow Hello Card uses a bunch of colourful cardstock and the versatile Here’s a Card stamp set. I have a bit of a backlog of cards on my desk from several months ago and will post a couple this week while I’m working on projects for this weekend’s Sale-a-Bration Extravaganza Event on Facebook (details below).

I received this card from a friend (and fellow demonstrator) Colleen Weddell during the summer. 2020 was challenging for our family, and would have been regardless of whether we were living in a pandemic world or not. To say that I appreciated receiving this card was an understatement.

Colleen choose six colours from the Brights family, embossed them with six different embossing folders, and cut them into 3/4″ strips. They were then layered onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock. Five of the chosen embossing folders are still current, but you can choose six of whatever folders you have in your collection. They give the strips texture, but this card is really about the colours.

The ‘hello’ stamp is part of the Here’s a Card stamp set. It’s a sentiment set that has fourteen sayings for the outside and inside of cards. She added the “I made you a card because you’re worth it” saying to the inside of my card, and it warmed my heart. This card is definitely a keeper.

Finally, the scalloped circle punches are now retired, but one is still available in the Clearance Rack in my online store. Once again, the punch shape isn’t important – choose something that fits the size of your sentiment and you’re good to go.

Have you signed up for our Sale-a-Bration Extravaganza event this Saturday? I have partnered with 5 other demonstrators to bring you a full day of projects, fun, games, tips, live demonstrations and a few prizes! Click HERE to join the group (Canadians and non-demonstrators only). There will be a second event in mid-February with even MORE fun, games, tips, live demonstrations.

Do you need a Sale-a-Bration catalogue? How about a January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue? My copies will be arriving in the mail later this week. Email if you would like a paper version of either. In the meantime you can view or download all versions of all catalogues HERE.

It’s a beautiful sunny day day today, so I’m off to take some card photos and continue to clean up after last week’s window replacement. I hope that you try creating your own Rainbow Hello Card. They would add a bright spot in someone’s day – ask me how I know. Until later this week, Happy Stamping.
