Hello stampers! There are grey skies today, making it the perfect day for sharing this pretty Lovely You card project. It is another brightly coloured card, perfect for a dull January day.
Today’s project is another received in a swap last summer from Elicia Zebroski. It’s very simple to create – you just need a bunch of different colours of ink. I don’t have the specific card recipe for this one, so I’m not sure of the colours.
This project was created with the Lovely You stamp set. It’s *new* to the Annual catalogue (aka 6 months old at this point!) and has both images and sentiments. I don’t have it as of yet, but it is on my wish list because of these phrases. They combine two different fonts with a contemporary look.
Wonderful sentiments for all occasions, with easy to use natural accents for your projects. This particular card uses the bottom left image, stamped in different colours along the bottom/side of the card. Elicia stamped each one twice to achieve a bit of depth.
This stamp set is also available as part of a bundle. The Lovely Labels Pick a Punch makes it easy to create pretty banners on your card with little effort. No more looking at those thin pieces of cardstock, trying to decide where the make the cuts for perfect v-cut ends.
Finally, there are 3 of the gold Gilded Gems on the card. I have been playing with these, and they’re lovely on a project.

I’m off to do a few things today. It’s our last day before the next lockdown begins, so the 15 year old and I are going to drop a few things on people’s porches, grab some bananas and berries at the store, and head home again. I’m fairly certain that the girl is going to go slightly bananas being stuck at home again, but I’m okay with it. I have a dog-walking buddy.
