On to today’s project! Teresa Milke-Steinman has created this pretty Quiet Meadow card that I intend on giving to a friend this weekend that has a severe illness. Never underestimate the value of a card in the mail, or delivered in person. They brighten someone’s day in an way that email never can. Last week I sent out a bunch of envelopes to my team (the photo was posted on FB), and many have written this week to say that they loved the mail.
The key takeaway? Send out your cards!
Teresa’s card has two colours, along with Basic White, and they work very well together. I love this combination and will definitely use it in the future. Today’s Colour Chip has been added to the Colour Chip Resources page. Bookmark it so that you can scroll through the Chips whenever you’re in need of inspiration.
The sentiment die cut has cute scallops on the side. If you’re not a fan, or don’t want these on a specific project, they’re easy to cut off and no one will ever know that they were there. You just have a stitched rectangle on the card.
A bit of background stamping, one easy die cut, and a strip of Designer Series Paper work well together to create the card. Teresa die cut the Basic White background with a Stitched Rectangle die, matching the stitched sentiment.
