Good morning stampers. Today I’m sharing a Piece of Cake Waterfall Card that we created in my July classes. It looks difficult to make, but once you have the folds scored, it’s quite an easy card to construct.
Waterfall cards have always seemed scary to me, so I’ve been reluctant to try one. I couldn’t have been more wrong. There is definitely a bit of paper chopping involved, and this isn’t the best card for a beginner to try, but the end result is worth it. The ladies loved this project!
I went with a very bright colour scheme for this birthday card, and I think that it works very well with the colouring on the cakes. Especially because stampers can add whatever colour they want with Stampin’ Blends or Stampin’ Write Markers. Here’s the overall colour combo on the card.
Here are a few other close-ups of the card. The colouring was done with Stampin’ Blends, which give you a more flawless look – no messy lines.
The full supply list for this card can be found below. Order any stamping supplies that you need for this project by clicking on the links. You can also go directly to my Online Store. If you order is over $25, add the August Host Code (T6U97S6B) to receive a free Tutorial Bundle at the end of the month. If your order is over $200, choose the Stampin’ Rewards instead of adding the Host Code. I’ll send you the Bundle! See full details HERE.
