Merry Moose Gift Tags

It’s our last day of Moose Week! Today’s project are Merry Moose gift tags. The hardest part of making these suckers is threading the thread through the tiny holes in the moose backs. They’re SO cute though.

Aren’t they adorable? I thinks this cute package has 8 tags inside. I created them for my Open House in September, but I’m definitely making more. All you need to do is stamp them onto Crumb Cake cardstock, and punch them out. These moose were stamped with Early Espresso ink. I have another set in Crumb Cake, but they don’t stand out as well. I would definitely go with a darker ink.

Now, you won’t find Cherry Cobbler twine anywhere in the catalogues. Where did I find mine? I didn’t. I made it. Cut your lengths of Linen Thread, and colour them with a Dark Cherry Cobbler Blend. Voila! You now have matching thread.

If you want to give away a pack of tags, create a header with Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake cardstock. Stamp trees across the 1″ wide piece of Crumb Cake, and add a quick phrase in coordinating ink. Add one more punched moose to finish it off.

Thanks for joining me for Moose Week. I hope that you enjoyed all of the projects… now you just need to make some Merry Moose gift tags! I *should* be back early next week. We have a lot of balls in the air at the moment, and I need some of them to land to get back of time. Happy stamping this weeknd!
