Good afternoon stampers! I hope that you’re enjoyed the spring weather over the weekend. It feels so good to get back into the garden. My perennials are growing at a tremendous pace under this gorgeous sunshine, and I even have a few flowers! Nothing as pretty as those on this card, but I am enjoying this Love What You Do Thank You Card. It has been CASE’d but altered slightly from one that I posted last week, originally created by Stampin’ Up!
I would have recreated it exactly, but I didn’t order the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit. Demonstrators had the option of ordering individual items from the Share What You Love Suite in April, and I wasn’t sure that I wanted to add the Kit to my order. That and I had already added a whole lot of other new items to my order, and knew that I had to draw the line somewhere. So, I created my own “embellishment” but using my Pretty Label punch in a unique way. Look below at a few tidbits on how to recreate this card.
The Love What You Do stamps, Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, Pearlized Doilies and Rich Razzleberry 1/4″ Velvet ribbon are all included in the “A Little More, Please” Bundle. You just need to add some Whisper White cardstock, Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink, and Rhinestones. To stamp the centres of the flowers, use the smaller of the two solid stamps, ink it up, and then double-stamp before re-inking. Love the Pearlized Doilies? There are 24 in a pack, so you will have more than enough to add to your projects.
