Today is the last day that you can order from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue, and your last chance to get your favourite retiring items. Our Love What You Do card is for purple lovers, and has a mix of new and old on it.
You’ll recognize the flowers from Love What You Do, but the card design is different from one that I previously posted. Gorgeous Grape is a lovely colour to watercolour with, and I paired the flowers with the Gorgeous Grape paper from the retiring Brights 6″x6″ DSP pack. We will have a Brights pack, but the patterns have changed. I love this random dotted paper, but you’ll like the new ones as well.
How did I create the delicate scalloped edge? With the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch of course. Each edge is different from the other, so you can get two different looks from this punch.
The other retiring item on this card is the Old Olive Linen Thread, which can be found on page 39 in the Occasions Catalogue. It is not carrying over to the new catalogue.
What’s new on this card? The flowers have been cut with one of the new Stitched Nested Labels dies. You are going to LOVE these. Here’s a close-up of the flowers and the die cut.
