This card was outright copied from one created by Kylie Bertucci. I was looking for Amazing Life stamp set samples early in January that I could recreate for my Open House, and happened upon her card.
Project Details:
The colour scheme for this card comes directly from the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper (DSP). Night of Navy card stock forms the base of the card, with Whisper White card stock and a piece of the Happiness Blooms DSP on top. We’ll go through mat sizes in a later post, but for reference, there is 1/8″ difference between the two bottom layers and the card base.
Because the colour was added to the sentiment with Stampin’ Blends, the phrase was stamped with Memento Black ink. If you want to colour them with Stampin’ Write Markers, you can stamp it with Night of Navy ink because the colours won’t bleed over the lines.
*Tip* Match the base ink with the markers that you are colouring with. Use Memento Black ink with the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers so that the ink doesn’t bleed.
You can see that I cut the stamped panel with one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. If you buy the Amazing Life stamp set and the Framelits, you can save 10% because they’re available in a bundle (150624 – $67.50). Each of these can also be bought separately.
