Good Luck Card for guys, gals, and everyone else.

Today’s easy to make Good Luck card is one that you should have in your card box. Make one for a special person, or keep a couple on hand for anyone that is about to compete or try something new. I am posting this card today because my daughter’s synchronized skating team is participating in their season-ending competition this weekend. Good luck to all of the Ice Fire teams!

This Amazing Life card was my entry into a January demonstrator swap. When designing the card, I started with a card map that I found online. It gave me three rectangles, the circle, and the element for the sentiment. This good luck sentiment works particularly well with the design.

*Tip* Card maps are diagrams or photos that outline elements for your project. Their layouts generally tell you where to stamp your sentiment, and may also help you with placement of embellishments.

Earlier this week I posted a photo of another card that features this stamp set and the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper (DSP). The colour scheme for today’s card was also pulled from that DSP, specifically the pieces chosen for the layout. It is more masculine than feminine, but all you need to do is change out the colours.

The dotted DSP and Night of Navy circle are glued flat to the card base. The strip of Calypso Coral card stock was only glued to the DSP at the top, so that I could curl the bottom out (see below). I like the effect that it adds to the card. This layer is added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and should be glued before the sentiment goes down. The sentiment itself is attached with Dimensionals on the right side, and SNAIL on the left.
