Good morning stampers! Today I’m showing off a card that was created using the Limited Edition Happiness Surrounds stamp set. It’s part of the Snowflake Showcase offerings this month, and has some very pretty elements to it.
The card has been CASE’d from a sample originally designed by Rachel Tessman. I was on a very short timeframe last week to finish some samples before our Stamp Your Holiday event on Saturday, so everything I made for the display boards were CASE’d. Which is never a big deal – as long as you acknowledge the original designer/stamper.
Rachel created a lovely card that would be perfect as a sympathy or get well card. She paired Granny Apple Green with Soft Sea Foam, as well as Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. I was amazed when I read that she only used 2 colours of purple, but stamped each image more than once, resulting in multiple colours of flowers.
All elements on this card were die cut using the Snowfall Thinlits. These Thinlits are designed to cut images from both the Happiness Surrounds Stamp Set and the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set. Although the Thinlits are pricy, knowing that they cut many different images makes it something that is ultimately more affordable to add to your collection. And… there are gorgeous snowflakes!
Have a look at the detail on the green “branch”. It’s actually a bunch of snowflakes, but when the flowers are placed on top, they look like leaves! Rachel added Glitter Enamel Dots and Share What You Love Artisan Pearls in the centres to finish off the project. Here’s a final close-up of the elements.
