Welcome to our first installment of Flamingo Fridays. I have loved those bright pink birds for 30+ years, and am so pleased that they are the current trendy bird of choice. This calls for a celebration! I own 4 Stampin’ Up! sets that feature my favourite Big Pink Birds (along with a whole pile of stamps & dies from competing companies), so be prepared for lots of flamingos to pop up on the blog.
Pop of Paradise is the centrepiece of the Pop of Pink Suite that can be found on pages 84-85 of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. The flamingo looks SO happy! This card is one of my originals, created using the Pop of Paradise stamp set, and the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper. It came together after last weekend’s Wendy’s Little Inklings Demonstrator meeting, just before I put everything away. Now the room is a mess again. As good craft rooms should be!
