Good afternoon stampers! Today’s project is a pretty card, featuring the Piece of Cake stamp set and Cake Builder Punch which is now back in stock!
Isn’t it cute? Simple cards are fun to make, and this one is no exception. It was CASE’d from a Brian King original, and the colours are perfect for a baby shower, or birthday.
The colour scheme can be found in the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (DSP). It is a mix of Soft Sea Foam, Gray Granite, and Petal Pink. Layering and framing cardstock and DSP makes it simple to quickly pull together any project.
The cake elements were stamped on Whisper White cardstock, coloured with Stampin’ Blends, and punched with the Cake Builder Punch. The heart was fussy-cut, an easy task because of its simple shape. Here’s a close-up of the cake.
One of the key features of the Piece of Cake stamp set is that there are six different cakes, all of which can be punched with the Cake Builder Punch. Add in a bunch of sentiments that can be mixed/matched on your project, and it’s a versatile stamp set. Here’s another close-up of the finished project.

Don’t Forget…
My Back to Basics Training Course began yesterday. Each week in the 12 week course we will cover a different “basic” topic. This week we’re talking ink! I’ll broadcast live on Facebook each Monday afternoon, and downloadable resources are available in a private Back to Basics Facebook Group. If you would like to be included in that group, head over to my Wendy’s Little Inklings Facebook page. The group is pinned to the top – just click to join and I’ll add you in!
Finally, our OnStage Demonstrator event takes place in a week and a half. I’m presenting a new product suite at the event, and have some gorgeous projects put together to share. As soon as OnStage is over, I’ll be posting exclusive projects to my Facebook page that won’t be available anywhere else until later in the month. ‘Like’ the page, see the projects, and make sure you tell your stamping friends!
Thanks for stopping by today! It’s so exciting that the Cake Builder Punch is back in stock! My post is a bit late going up, but I had an OnStage practice presentation this morning, and right now I’m working hard to keep up with things. Happy stamping!
