Hi Stampers! I created today’s Butterfly Gala card after seeing so many Monarch butterflies flitting about in my yard. It’s an easy card to make, and one that you could mass produce.
I found this colour combination on a completely different card in a cardmaking magazine. It wasn’t Stampin’ Up! colours, but the colour combination wasn’t difficult to recreate. The Pumpkin Pie of the Monarch wings really gives this card a vibrant fee.
With the exception of the butterflies, everything is cut on straight lines. The Monarchs themselves are stamped on white cardstock and punched. A great feature of this stamp set is that both butterflies are together on a single stamp, and they line up perfectly with the punch. It makes it quick and easy to stamp/punch multiple butterflies.
