Happy Saturday! Today I have a Brightly Gleaming Ornament card to share, because I have run out of official Stampin’ Up! videos to post!
This is the last project that I have from this gorgeous suite. I’m very grateful to my fellow demonstrators for sharing these through our recent card swap. You may remember my earlier this week that I don’t own anything from this suite! I like the products in the suite, however copper isn’t one of my favourite metallics, so I invested in other stamps instead. (I’m SO sad that the moose punches are no longer available!)
Today’s card was made by Laurie Alexander. She is such a beautiful stamper, and her projects are always so well made. This card doesn’t have a lot of stamping on it – just the background behind the ornament.
The ornament itself has been punched from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP, with an additional strip added to the side of the card. It’s a great example of project that uses just a bit of the paper to make a big impact, because the specialty DSP is more expensive than the regular DSP.
To complete the card, thin strips of Pretty Peacock cardstock and Copper Foil have been added beneath the DSP. A bow made from the 1/2″ Classic Weave Ribbon that is part of the suite is glued to the top of the ornament. Lots of copper shine on this card!
The full supply list for this card can be found below. Order any stamping supplies that you need for your projects by clicking on the links. You can also go directly to my Online Store. If you order is over $25, add the November Host Code (4TNW9FDK) to receive a free Tutorial Bundle at the end of the month. If your order is over $200, choose the Stampin’ Rewards instead of adding the Host Code. I’ll send you the Bundle! See full details HERE.

Don’t forget:
- The Christmastime is Here Suite is only available for another week! Order the entire suite, or just a few elements. Everything in the suite is perfect for Christmas crafting. Find all the details here.
- I have gift certificates available for purchase this holiday season. They’re perfect those that would like stamping supplies for Christmas, but aren’t sure what to choose. E-mail for additional details!
Looking through my basket, it appears that next week is all about holiday cards created with stamps from the Annual Catalogue. I’m going to try and write the posts tomorrow (or at least the one for Monday!) so that they actually appear on the blog. I have hit a busy spot in our schedule with work, skating, craft show prep, and my still non-driving status – which I’m hoping will change in the next week or two! I can’t believe that I’m popping things in the mail to those that live relatively close by because it’s inconvenient trying to get there by transit/foot.
In the meantime, thanks for stopping by this week to have a look at different Brightly Gleaming Ornament projects. Cross your fingers that I stay relatively sane until January. Happy stamping 🙂
