Good morning stampers, and Happy Friday! Today I have a Brightly Gleaming Gatefold Card to share with you. And… it’s the last day of Online Extravaganza! Don’t forget to place your order before midnight. Before you go through, let’s have a look at today’s card.
Carolyn Matthews created this card, using the gorgeous Brightly Gleaming Specialy Designer Series Paper, and coordinating Copper Foil sheets. The colours are Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock, and Very Vanilla.
The sentiment is in the from the versatile Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, and stamped/sponged with Night of Navy ink. Carolyn added a couple of sprigs, courtesy of her Sprig Punch. Such a versatile tool!! Here’s a close-up of the card front.
Generally, gatefold cards just open in the front, and you may have a belly band to help keep the card closed. This card has three panels, and when the card is closed, it appears that it’s just a regular style card. The inside though, shows us that it’s a completely different type of card. They’re not difficult to make, you just need to add different fold lines.
