Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship CASE the Catalogue Monday

Happy Monday! Today I’m showcasing the Beauty of Friendship bundle on CASE the Catalogue Monday. I’ll be posting projects with this gorgeous bundle all week, as well as the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper.

Beauty of the Earth is an entire Suite of products, that work well together. It was one of the bundles that Demonstrators were able to order before the Annual Catalogue went live in May, and it was at the top of my wish list. The suite includes:

  • Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set
  • Beautiful Trees Dies
  • Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper
  • Bark 3D Embossing Folder

Today’s CASE the Catalogue project is on page 10 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. It was quite easy to make, although I discovered that I never did replace the Cajun Craze inkpad that I tossed out earlier because it hardened and was unusable. Cinnamon Cider is a good alternative, as it is one of the main colours in the DSP.

This stamp set is used for two-step stamping, made all the easier because the stamps are photopolymer. The two background stamps also have a DistINKtive look to them, which gives the trees a layered look by using only two colours and two stamps.

Embossing on the Misty Moonlight cardstock gives you a good focus element on the card front. I never seem to remember to do this, opting instead to stamp on white or light colours and then die cutting or punching. This card is a good reminder that I need to add more colour to my projects.

When I’m selecting packs of Designer Series Paper for my collection, I always look at both sides of the paper in the photograph. As long as I like one side of most of the sheets, I’ll get it. This paper is no exception. Normally I would find this piece to be too busy for my liking, but it’s really striking on this card. The backside is a lovely blue with white, giving it a cloud-like feel.

Don’t forget that you can purchase the Beauty of the Earth stamp set and Beautiful Trees dies separately, or purchase them together as a bundle to save 10%. You could also purchase the entire suite all at once using a single item number ($100.25 – 155843). The full supply list for this card can be found at the bottom of the post. Thanks for stopping by today. I’m liking this CASE the Catalogue Monday vibe, and I really like this Beauty of Friendship Bundle. I encourage you to have a look at page 10 of the catalogue for more projects created with the this bundle. I’ll be posting 2 cards to my Facebook page tomorrow, that take very little effort to create, and I’ll be back here on Wednesday with our Back to Basics card for the week. Until then, Happy Stamping!
