Waves of Inspiration Catalogue CASE

Happy Monday! Today’s project is a Waves of Inspiration card that was CASE’d from the new Annual Catalogue. It’s been a couple of weeks since I posted something new to look at, but that’s what happens when you go on vacation and come back with a nasty cold. In fact, 6 of us came home under the weather, but all of the rapid tests came back negative, we just needed to fight it off. Moving forward, let’s look at today’s card.

The original example of this card is on page 101 of the catalogue. At the time I made it, I didn’t have the new In Colors yet, so the cardstock and ink on the card is what I had on hand. The Mango Melody and Poppy Parade looks amazing against the Bermuda Bay background, which shows that you can work with what you have in your stamping collection. (But you’ll want the In Colors because they’re FABULOUS!)

All of the stamps used on this card are in the Waves of Inspiration stamp set, and the die cut frame for the sentiment is in the Waves Dies. These dies coordinate with the stamp set, and are available as a bundle.

Don’t you love the three pieces of black baker’s twine that wrap through the die cut and around the layer. I don’t like adding bows to everything that I make, and this is a great way to add dimension without adding bulk.
