Good afternoon stampers! We were playing the new Stamparatus at this morning’s class, and it was lovely to see the “wow” look on my stampers’ faces as they were stamping their projects. This isn’t one one of the class cards, but I’m sharing it because it has such a summer feel to it. It was stamped with Varied Vases and light, pretty colours.
Rachel Tessman created the original version of this card, using two of our new In Colors, and a returning favourite. It could be a one-layer card, but the large white piece on the front has been popped up from the base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. All of the colours have been stamped at full strength except for the lighter Grapefruit Grove vase which was stamped off on scrap paper first. Varied Vases is a two step stamp set, and has three different styles of vases. You can use a Stampin’ Write maker to extend the stems of the flowers once they have been stamped. Looking for shorter stems? Use a Stampin’ Write marker to colour the image before stamping, or carefully ink it up using an ink pad, taking care not to add ink to the stem you’re trying to eliminate.
It is SO easy to line up the photopolymer images while stamping. All of my cards have been stamped using clear blocks, but if you wanted to make multiples for a set of cards for a hostess, use the Stamparatus! You’ll be surprised on how much faster the process is when the stamps are ready to be inked and stamped. Click HERE for more details.
