Good morning stampers! Today I have two Toile Christmas cards that were CASE’d from the Holiday catalogue. Both are considered to be intermediate to advanced level cards, but only because they take time to colour and put together. Let’s have a look.
Both cards were made with elements from the Toile Tidings Suite, and can be found on page 6 of the Holiday catalogue. The suite has some lovely products in, but my favourite is probably the Garden Green 3/8″ Double-Stitched Ribbon. I love it so much. I don’t normally gush over ribbon, but it ties nicely, you can lay it flat, and it’s a great colour and width.
All stamps on this card are in the Toile Christmas stamp set, and each has been die cut with the Christmas Cardinal Dies. You can order these individually, or as a bundle (save 10%). When I cracked open the package of Toile Tidings DSP, I was pleasantly surprised to see that images from the Nature’s Beauty stamp set are on some of the sheets of paper. Each sheet has the same images on front/back; half are shown in Real Red, and the other half are in Garden Green.
The cardinal on this card was coloured using Stampin’ Blends. The stamp has the details on it to help guide you with your colouring, because you can see the highlights. Real Red, Basic Black, and Daffodil Delight were used on the cardinal, while Old Olive Blends were used for colouring the leaves.
Our second card can also be found on page 6 of the Holiday catalogue. It has a softer look to it because Watercolour Pencils were used to colour the images. Once again, you should find the colouring and shading to be relatively easy because the highlights are in the stamp. The same colours were used on this card, except that I switched out Granny Apple Green for the Old Olive.
The full supply list for both cards can be found below. Order any stamping supplies that you need for your projects by clicking on the links. You can also go directly to my Online Store. If you order is over $25, add the December Host Code (FWECUW7N) to receive a free Tutorial Bundle at the end of the month. If your order is over $200, choose the Stampin’ Rewards instead of adding the Host Code. I’ll send you the Bundle! See full details HERE.

Come on back tomorrow for another Toile Christmas Catalogue project. I’m writing the post today (Thursday) to make sure that I’m not snowed under tomorrow with preparations for Saturday’s craft show. Stop by Facebook later today and tomorrow, and I’ll post a few of the items that we’ll have at our table. Until later, Happy Stamping!
