It may be International Panda Day, but it’s also Flamingo Friday! A fellow demonstrator said that I should try to combine the two, but seeing as how they reside in two different parts of the world it would be difficult. Also, the stamps themselves are different sizes. It would look like the flamingo is trying to stomp on the panda! We all know that this would NEVER happen. So, instead we’re all going to be Tickled Pink with Fabulous Flamingo today.
This card would be a wonderful addition to a welcoming gift for a baby girl. Especially since you could stamp the inside of the card and the flap of the envelope with the palm leaves. Coordination is huge right now, so why not jump on the trend! It takes very little time, and adds some cachet to the project.
If you didn’t pick up on it, the strip of cardstock in the centre of the card has been embossed with the Seaside Embossing Folder. Generally we emboss cardstock so that the raised edge of the embossing is facing out. This time I decided to turn it over, so that you see the debossed side. Just for fun. A length of silver thread has been looped underneath for a bit of interest as well.
My Stamparatus arrived a couple of weeks ago, and this is one of the first cards that I created with the tool. Once I had the stamps placed on the plates, it was super-easy to stamp more than one of them without having to line up the stamps. The tool will be available for order in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. If you would like a quick demonstration before then, let me know!
