Good morning stamping friends! It’s nice and sunny outside today, but I’m feeling a tad under the weather. These late season colds are terrible on the system. I want nothing more than to be able to throw the windows open and let the spring breeze flow through the house. It’s a *little* cold outside to do that right now. Since it’s Thursday, it’s time for a Throwback Thursday card. Today I have a card that features the single stamp Elizabeth, with a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. Before we go there, I want to quickly remind you that Sale-a-Bration is almost over (9 days!). We had a bunch of different promos as part of this giant celebration, and I have highlighted one of them below.

Moving on to todays card… This stamp has been retired for a few years, but I still have it in my collection. I’m not generally a floral stamper, but this stamp is large enough that it is a focal point on a card, and the Teeny Tiny Sentiments (which is still current and available in the current annual catalogue) are all small enough to fit into the oval. I do like that the layout of the card is one that can easily be replicated now with a current image in the catalogue.
The leaves, vines and flowers were coloured with Stampin’ Write markers, and the stamping was all done with Chocolate Chip ink. I think the pink is Pretty in Pink, with one of the retired naturals cardstock as the main white space on the card. Old Olive is definitely the green, and it pairs well with Chocolate Chip and any of the pinks that we currently have. The border punch is also long retired. My brain isn’t functioning at 100% capacity this morning, so I can’t pull the name from my brain.
Last but not least, tomorrow is my Last Kick at the Sale-a-Bration Can event! Drop by my place anytime between 1-3pm or 7-9pm and see what’s up! You can find me at 2 Tavistock Avenue, Brooklin ON. One quick note… I have a really friendly Golden Retriever, but I’ll have her secured behind her dog barrier. I hope to see you tomorrow!
Happy Stamping!
