For today’s project I wanted to highlight the soon-to-be-retiring 2019-2021 In Colors and The Right Triangle stamp set. Combined with the Stitched Triangles Dies, it’s a versatile stamp set that provides unique elements to cards and scrapbook pages.
These cards are super easy to make, because you’re stamping the largest triangle onto coloured cardstock, and die cutting them with the largest triangle in the die set. Glue it to white cardstock, add a sentiment, and then glue the layer the card base. Add a few of the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots, and you’re good to go!
You may remember that the Purple Posy Classic Ink Pads aren’t available because of quality issues with the ink. The sentiment and triangle on the Purple Posy card were stamped using the Stampin’ Write Marker. I inked the stamps, l huffed on them to moisten, and stamped the images onto the cardstock.
The Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile, Rococo Rose, and Pretty Peacock Classic ink is available. Don’t forget to add the In Color ink & refills, cardstock, ribbon, and Stampin’ Blends to your order soon. As soon as they appear on the retiring list, stock will disappear quickly!
Today’s cards do have some of the retired In Color Faceted Dots on them. I actually made these cards for this week’s blog hop, not realizing that they were no longer available. Clearly I forgot to remove them from my box! Substitute these with clear embellishments for a similar look.
