Happy Sunday! It’s a tad rainy out today, but our flowers, lawns & shrubs love this, so it’s all good. Especially because it gives me a good reason to play in my stamp room while watching cheesy romantic flicks. Those of you that have stamped in my house know that I have one bookshelf that I peer through with a perfect view of the television on the wall. It’s awesome!
Once again, I’m happily sharing projects created by talented Team Flamingo stampers. My Stampin’ Up! team has over 20 people in it, is very creative, and apparently quite shy. I keep trying to convince them to join us and share their completed projects – 4 did so this week, and as always, their projects are lovely.
First up this week is Katrina Barker-Pyke. She has created two fun cards using the #loveitchopit formula created by Kylie Bertucci. The Designer Series paper on these cards is from the Sale-a-bration pack that could be earned during this winter’s SAB promotion. The blueberry stamp on the Berry Blessings card has also retired because it was part of SAB, however the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and its coordinating punch will be available in the new Annual Catalogue.
*Note* While I’m thinking about it, the start of our summer Sale-a-bration promotion has been pushed back to August, along with the July-December mini catalogue. Supply chain & shipping delays are causing havoc with those books, so we’re pushing it back to make sure we have the products in stock.
Next up we have Cathy Harker, who has created two very pretty projects. Her stamping is impeccable, and I love to see what she creates each week. These projects have been CASEd from others found on the internet, but Cathy has started to use card sketches to stretch her creativity. I’m looking forward to see these projects.
Bianca Cervoni has shared another pretty floral card this week created with the Forever Blossoms and Well Said stamp sets. The Well Said stamp set is retiring tomorrow, but the Forever Blossoms set will carry over to the new Annual Catalogue. A very pretty card.
Finally, I have two cards from Julie MacIsaac this week. The Dog Builder punch is retiring, but it’s definitely one that is staying in my collection. I love the way he looks up in the air, waiting for something. If you have a dog, you know the look. The Mother’s Day card is one that every mom out there would love to receive.
Aren’t these projects wonderful? These demonstrators put a lot of time and effort into their projects, and it really shows in the photographs.
