Earlier this summer I put together a couple of baby blankets – one for a coworker, and an extra to have on hand for when it’s needed. My poor co-worker received a ‘card from the bin’, AKA the dust bin of cards that have been hanging around for awhile. The next recipient will, if the baby is a boy, receive a blanket wrapped up with this tag.
Swirly Bird has some fabulous images that can be mixed and matched to create a fun tag or card that’s relevant for anyone. I paired the images with a sentiment from Better Together, my current goto set for cards. I chopped the sentiment using one of the framelits from the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits set. It was too long, so I popped it back into the framelit, placing it so that it cut the paper exactly where I wanted it. Too easy!
Adding a chunk of Soft Sky cardstock that was cut using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits as well as the banners on the end of the tag, helped to cement the nautical feel of the tag.
This is the last of the colour blending that I did in the summer. Creating the tags was addictive, so don’t be surprised to see more of these pop up in the future. Happy Stamping!
