Happy Monday! Today’s project is a Gold Embossed Festive Foliage Card that has such great shine to it. However, the shine isn’t overwhelming, making it a lovely holiday card. There are two versions of this card; scroll down to see both.
The card above is a direct CASE from one made by Rachel MacLeod. Trust me when I say that both of the projects were hard to photograph! The base is Evening Evergreen, with a piece of Basic White inside. I opted to stamp the image onto a separate piece of cardstock to make it easier to emboss.
Today’s sentiment is in the Inspired Thoughts stamp set, and has been cut using a die from the Tasteful Labels die set. It’s nice to see a stamp that works perfectly with this die.
Our second project has the same design, but I changed the orientation and colour of the card base. Gold Embossing also looks lovely against the Shaded Spruce cardstock, and both cards have a number of Red Rhinestones on them. Use as few or as many as you’d like, but the size of the card makes it possible to use a bunch. Now, I did recently find one on the floor of my living room. Looking at the card in front of me while I write this, it’s clear that it came from the card below. I need to add one before it goes out in the mail!
