Happy Wednesday! Today’s Daffodil Afternoon Circle project is the last of my recent batch of cards made with sketches. It’s super easy to make with circle dies or extra large circle punches. Let’s have a closer look at this project.
This card is the last of a trio of cards that I made with the help of card sketches. As with the other cards, it has a sentiment from the Special Moments stamp set, and uses the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper. Both are part of the Sale-a-bration freebie options this winter.
On Monday I mentioned that the Daffodil Delight Designer Series Paper is a bit polarizing, and that a few of my customers aren’t big on the large patterns. Two of the circles on today’s card feature one of the smaller patterns found on the second side of the paper. I always look at the photos of both sides of the paper before ordering a full pack, because I want to be sure that I’ll use most of it on my projects.
This colour scheme is very pretty. We have Petal Pink ribbon, but I didn’t add any to the card because I found it to be too fussy. I’m adding this Chip to the Colour Chip Resource page. Make sure you bookmark the page for future inspiration.
You can use any size circles that you’d like. The sketch for this card is below, and when we posted this on our Sale-a-bration Spectacular group on the weekend, we saw different sizes, along with scalloped circles. A written tutorial that you can download can also be found below. Scroll down for the link.
The supply list for today’s project can be found at the bottom of the post. If you need any stamping supplies, I would be very happy to be your demonstrator. Just click on the link below to go directly to my Online Store. Shop 24/7 in the comfort of your home, and ship it directly to you!
