The Stamparatus is a fantastic tool. Without it, there’s no way that today’s cards would be as well stamped as they are. Candy Cane Season is a two-step stamp set, and even though it is a photopolymer stamp set, the images can be tricky to accurately put to paper. Using the Stamparatus with the Candy Cane Season holly stamps makes it so easy to line up your images, and mass produce your cards.
Today I have three different cards to show you. Why three? Because I moved the stamps on the Stamparatus slightly between each round of stamping. The result is that you have three different looks. All colours are the same, but the layers and sentiments on each are also different.
*Tip* To make a perfect stamped circle on a card, use a template with your Stamparatus. The ones below were created using pieces of cardstock and the two largest non-scalloped squares from my Layering Squares Framelits. Once you have your template, place your template on the Stamparatus mat, add your cardstock square in to one of the squares of the template and secure with magnet. Place your stamp in one corner of your cardstock. Stamp! Once you have done this, pick up the cardstock and turn to the next corner and stamp. Repeat until all of the corners have been stamped and you have a stamped circle!
Here are the three different cards. I haven’t added ALL of the stamps/accessories that are on the cards in the supply list below, because the list would be very long. Instead, I am posting the card specific details with each card. Products that appear on all three will be in today’s supply list. For the first one, the Season of Joy stamp can be found in the Christmas Pines stamp set, while the ribbon is in the coordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits.
The sentiment on the second card can be found in the At Home with You stamp set, and the holly is also in the Christmas Pines stamp set.
Finally, the bow can also be found in the Candy Cane Season stamp set, while the sentiment is from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set in the Holiday catalogue. Along with the others in this set, the “merry” and “Christmas” stamps are two separate stamps. It allows you to create custom sentiments – something I really appreciate!
A quick note about the bow – the outline is a full Real Red stamp, while the inside is still Real Red, but it was stamped off first. Once stamped, it was punched with the Candy Cane Builder Punch. The stamps/punch are available as a bundle; you can save 10% when you purchase them together.
