Good morning stampers! It’s Flamingo Friday, but it’s also snowy. I can’t say whether the Snow is Glistening, (because I’m writing this on Thursday morning!), but it’s another good day for a snowflake card. I also have a new pair of flamingo socks – with snowflakes on them! Let’s get to it.
Today’s card was CASEd from a card created by Emma Goddard. Part of its appeal for me is that you can use the Snowfall Thinlits with the Big Shot Embossing Mats. There are three embossed snowflakes on the background of this card. So fast to emboss, with a WOW factor that will leave people wondering how you did it.
The pretty snowflake tree was stamped in Balmy Blue ink, and the sentiment was stamped using Basic Gray ink. Three smaller snowflakes were die cut from Balmy Blue cardstock, and glued to the tree. There is no trick to cutting the tree. Just line it up on your Paper Trimmer, and chop. Here’s a close-up of the card itself.
You can see that the snowflakes have a sparkle to them, courtesy of Wink of Stella. Because bling is a part of Christmas, there are rhinestones in their centres.
Before we get to the supply list… check out these socks! I found them yesterday at the evil craft store, and couldn’t resist. I may even wear them to work tonight. They’re so darn cute.
