Today’s been a *tad* busy, and I’m not yet caught up with everything post-vacation, so I’m playing catch-up with blog posts this afternoon. This particular card wasn’t created with anyone specific in mind, but I like to have certain types of cards on hand for when they are needed. I have a few friends that have gone through treatment for breast cancer, and do like to give them cards for a small pick-me-up when needed. This simple yet heartfelt Ribbon of Courage card fits the bill, and it’s really fast and easy to create.
The stamp set includes several sentiments along with its primary images, and I did choose one for the inside of the card. I just didn’t take a picture of it (and even this one is washed out – I need to work on that!!) Matching Framelits are also available and can be purchased on their own or as part of the Ribbon of Courage Bundle.
So, what did I use?
- Ribbon of Courage: 143852, $35 (wood mount) OR 143855, $25 (clear mount)
- Powder Pink card stock: 144244, $10
- Basic Black card stock: 121045, $10
- Whisper White card stock: 100730, $11.25
- Powder Pink Classic Ink: 144084, $8.50
- Basic Black Archival Ink: 140931, $9.25
*Note* I didn’t use the framelits on this card, as I don’t have them yet, but if you would like to order the set, you can save 10% if you order the Ribbon of Courage Bundle. It is available in Wood Mount (145342, $57.50) OR Clear Mount (145342, $48.50).
