It was a bit frosty outside this morning! I actually had to scrap frost from my windshield! Actually, I just sprayed it and cleaned it with my wipers, but still! The giant DNA structure had to get to school somehow, and the big dude was worried that it would break on the bus. What does this have to do with today’s card? Absolutely nothing, but it gives you insight into how I spend a lot of my time – ferrying kids around. Today’s card is called Season Like Christmas with a Lemon Lime Twist.
I made this before my September Open House, but really didn’t want to post a whack of Christmas cards in September when there were pretty fall cards to share.
The colour combination is Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green, and I think that it gives the card a more modern look. When I was messing around with colour combos for this tree, my daughter really liked this one. I love that this stamp set is so easy to use, and there are endless colour combinations that you can use on the tree.
I think that I may create a flamingo pink one before the season is over. Watch for it.
One more note – this stamp set is available in French as well (145175). The set is a great value when you consider that there are sentiments for the outside and inside of the card, as well as a “to & from” stamp that can be used for tags.
