It seems that everyone has been touched directly or indirectly by someone who has some form of cancer. During two recent events, we created a number of cards using the Ribbon of Courage stamp set that will be donated in the next week or two to the Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre in Oshawa, ON.
During my Open House on June 1st, I asked each attendee to create a card for the Centre, and two of my team came over a week later to create another batch of cards. Creating cards for the Centre has been in the back of my mind since I brought this stamp set home from OnStage in April. However, one of my team, who was able to attend OnStage, passed away after a very long battle in late May. We are donating the cards in her name.
