It’s a beautiful spring day in Southern Ontario… perfect to bring out the flamingos! This is the last of the three Pop of Paradise cards that I recently created using the Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper (which is on the Retiring List along with the coordinating Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape).
This card is similar in layout to the first one that I blogged earlier, but you’ll note that I used DSP as the background instead of embossing clear leaves using the Heat Tool and Clear Embossing Powder. It’s just a different look for the card, and still so easy to make.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… flamingos do not have pink legs & beaks! I did colour this stamp with Stampin’ Write markers before stamping it onto the cardstock. The image just looks so much better when it isn’t monochromatic.
(Wanna hear a secret? Pop of Paradise isn’t retiring, so you’ll see him pop up from time to time. But that’s not really the secret. There’s a NEW flamingo set in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue that is SOOOO cute! Watch for it because I’m going to have a lot of fun.)
