Painted Harvest stamping at Saturday’s Demonstrator Meeting

One of the best parts about being a demonstrator is getting together to chat and stamp with other demonstrators!  We had an opportunity to do that in Stoney Creek on Saturday.  Since the bulk of our demonstrator group is in the west-GTA, which is WAY across the city, us east-GTA demonstrators don’t get to see a lot of our west end friends.  When we do, we always make the most of it.  This time around we made 4 cards, and today’s card features some Painted Harvest stamping, a favourite fall stamp set.

Our fearless leader, Jenn Tinline, does a great job at chopping all of the paper and designing the projects we stamp at her gatherings.  The colour scheme for this card comes directly from the piece of Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper on the bottom half of the card.  Isn’t it relaxing?

It’s really easy to make this card, because you’re just doing some stamping on the Whisper White cardstock, which is partly covered up by the paper and punched leaves.  What makes it even easier is that you’re stamping the Painted Harvest branches TWICE before re-inking.  Adding the berries is a quick step because it too is repeated stamping.  The leaves are also part of the Painted Harvest set, and they are quickly stamped and punched.

The most difficult part of this card?  Lining up the Another Wonderful Year sentiment so that you don’t stamp it on an angle!  It would have been time consuming to have a Stamparatus at the event when everyone is madly scurrying around, but using one would have eliminated that problem.
