Hi stampers! it’s Card Swap Thursday, and today I’m sharing a very pretty Painted Harvest card that has been stamped in blue, rather than the traditional fall colours. Cathy Craig, a fellow Canadian demonstrator, has created a very pretty card that would be a pleasure to receive.
I love that these are non-traditional colours, because it shows that you don’t have to use oranges, yellows and browns to create a fantastic card. Adding the piece of gingham ribbon wrapped with linen thread is a wonderful touch, and helps to tie all of the colours on the card together.
Stamping the inside of the card is something that you should try and do on each card that you create. It’s a hidden surprise to the recipient. I’ll be the first to admit that I usually forget to do this until all of my stamps have been cleaned and put away. It then seems like a bunch of work to take them all back out, so I’m actively working at getting better at this.
